SwiftCare Urgent Care is now offering Intravenous (IV) Nutritional Therapy administration to provide supplemental vitamins and micronutrients to improve your body’s state of health and overall well-being. Usually, you consume your vitamins and micronutrients through your food. You may even take additional multivitamin supplements. This allows your stomach and intestines to break down the vitamins and micronutrients. If they are not absorbed, they continue though the body and are excreted as stool. Other factors that may impact the amount of vitamins absorbed from the intestine depend upon your metabolisms, age, genetics, and interactions with other orally consumed products. It is likely that a significant amount of the orally ingested vitamins and micronutrients are lost resulting in much of these vitamins and micronutrients going to waste – literally!

With IV Nutritional Therapy, minerals and vitamins are administered into the body through the veins. This allows the vitamins and micronutrients to avoid metabolism in the intestine and be absorbed directly from the bloodstream. This allows the body to receive the full benefits of these nutrients immediately!
